My name is Cassie Born, and I am now an account executive for the Nashville Predators. This would have never been possible without the sport management program at Tusculum University. The professors at this school push you to be successful while also being willing to help where they can. They are understanding that life can get in the way at times, but they will always work with you if you are willing to take responsibility for your education. I am very thankful for being pushed out of my comfort zone to approach new opportunities I didn’t think I would like. If I hadn’t, I would not be working for one of the best organizations in the NHL and living in a great city.
The Sport Management program at Tusculum University prepares students for careers within the sport management industry through courses designed and structured to apply theoretical concepts to practical and realistic scenarios they will encounter within their careers.

Students also have the opportunity to attend networking conferences with faculty designed to introduce them to and gain exposure with sport management professionals in various sectors of the industry.
Students within the Sport Management program at Tusculum University get involved as engaged members within their community through volunteer opportunities such as coaching in local youth leagues, volunteering at events such as Tusculum’s Old Oak Festival, and completing service projects at various local sites during Nettie Day.
