We look forward to providing you the tutor who will assist you in your academic studies. Click the button and follow the steps below.

WHAT WE OFFER

Free tutoring services are provided by Tusculum University for both traditional and adult online (AOS) students. Tutoring will be provided on a drop-in basis on Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm and 7pm-9pm at the Center for Academic Success and Tutoring, located on the ground floor of the Meen Center on the Greeneville campus. Virtual and in-person appointments can be booked by emailing the Tutoring Coordinator at tutoring@tusculum.edu or through the Penji platform. Information on accessing Penji can be found below. Please note that the faculty reserves the right to require students to attend tutoring sessions.

Become a Tutor

Those wishing to become a tutor should fill out the application form below. Students will also need to have a completed Faculty Member Recommendation Form from each academic area in which they would like to tutor.

Steps to Sign Up for Tutoring

 Students must create an account to book tutoring services though Penji.
To create an account, please complete the following steps:
  1. Access Penji through penjiapp.com(for browsers) or the mobile app (Android or iOS). Select “Get Started”.
  2. Enter Tusculum student email and then set up a password.
  3. Go through the onboarding steps, including:
    • Select that you would like to “Learn” when given a choice between “Learn” and “Teach” (“Teach” is for providers such as tutors and coaches.)
    • Verify Email.
  4. Once you verify your email, log back into Penji.
Set up your profile by selecting your name in the upper right-hand corner > View profile > Edit your profile.
