ACA LogoThe ACA’s Study Away Network promotes study abroad or domestic study away experiences for students among participating ACA member institutions. Through sharing these learning opportunities, the Network increases the number of study away experiences available to students at their Home Institutions, while diversifying their exposure to students and instructors from other ACA schools. Moreover, it enhances the viability and efficiency of study away experiences being offered by Host Institutions.

“During my time at Tusculum, I had the lucky chance to travel abroad not once but twice. The first time was to Cambodia in 2017 with Dr. Patricia Hunsader where I spent two weeks at an orphanage and learning the history of Cambodia. The second time was in 2019 with Professor Kelsey Trom exploring Dublin, and Ireland’s castles while study all the great Irish authors- James Joyce, W.B Yeats and Oscar Wild. Both of these trips have significantly impacted my life, by learning how to get out my comfort zone and meet new people. If anyone is considering going abroad, do it- I promise you won’t regret it!”
