Join us for the 2024 annual Cicero Lecture presented by our very own, Dean of the CCLA, Wayne Thomas. This event will take place on 3/20/24 at 7 pm at the Behan Theatre. Here is a sneak peak of the lecture’s topic:

“The themes and styles of the American short story offer striking parallels and contemporaneous commentary on American history. Thomas will trace 100 years of that history via the form, decade by decade, beginning with the promising and horrific possibilities of early 20th century industry to the promising and horrific possibilities of early 21st century technology.”
