The Master of Arts in education degree is a full-time 12-month, 30-hour graduate education curriculum for licensed K-12 classroom teachers. Students completing this program will have advanced analytical, critical thinking and ethical decision-making skills for improving curriculum and service delivery in learning environments. Students can choose to start in fall, spring or summer with the option of completing the degree full-time or part-time.
The Master of Arts in education program helps current teachers to improve their art of teaching through differentiation of student learning, reflection of current teaching practices and action research. By conducting action research, MAED students learn through an active and experiential environment.
