The general biology major can also serve as a flexible preparation for allied health paths, such as physician assistant, physical therapist, and occupational therapist. This degree plan will allow you to work with your advisor to plan your curriculum in line with your career aspirations. Aside from the general education requirements and the main biology core, you can choose 32 credits from a wide variety of biology, chemistry and physics courses. The biology pre-medical, pre-dental and pre-veterinary concentration is specifically designed to contain all the prerequisite courses needed for successful application to professional schools.
