Greetings-
Thank you for considering Tusculum University as the conduit to the future best version of yourself! Tusculum University was the small, private, prestigious and deeply rooted institution that I have been looking for my entire career. I have been at Tusculum University for six years; most of which are in the capacity of Dean of our College of Business. The last year and a half has been as our Vice President of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid overseeing the departments of admissions, financial aid, marketing, and communications.
On the personal side, I am married to the love of my life, Dr. Lisa Andrus, now a faculty member here at Tusculum. We are the proud parents of our nearly 3-year-old son named Harrisson whom we adopted at birth. I would be amiss if I did not mention his best friend in this world, Harper, an 8-year-old English bulldog who lives to sleep, snore, shed, and fart. Both my wife and I have the entrepreneurial bug and own our own businesses: Roff School Tavern – a restaurant named after the 1890s one-room school house it once was & Andrus Hospitality – a hospitality industry consultancy.
It is my goal to lead Tusculum University to sustainable year-over-year enrollment growth. We are accomplishing this by adding the best and brightest to our enrollment team, fine-tuning our communication flow to perspective students (particularly Tennesseans) and telling the Tusculum University story in such a compelling way that it is no longer a best-kept East Tennessee secret.
I encourage you to sit in on a class in a field that you are interested in at Tusculum and schedule a tour while you are here. Make sure to grab an Arnold Palmer at Creamy Cup during your visit!
