Quiet Hours

Sunday – Saturday: 10 p.m. – 10 a.m.

24-hour quiet hours policy during finals week.

Courtesy hours are in place at all times.

Visiting Hours for Opposite Sex Guests

Sunday – Saturday: 12 p.m. – 12 a.m.

  • Same sex guests are allowed to stay a maximum of 3 nights in a 30 day period.


Visitation does not mean open access to the residence halls.

Residents must escort their guest to and from their room.

Unaccompanied guests will be asked to leave.

Health & Safety

Bi-weekly basis

Can fail for cleanliness

  • Will have 24 hours to fix or will be fined

Checking for cleanliness now means less fines at the end of year for residents.

Alcohol, Drugs, & Smoking

Tusculum is a dry campus.

The use of drugs and alcohol is strictly prohibited on Tusculum’s campus.

Tusculum is now a smoke-free and tobacco-free campus.

  • This includes vaporizers and e-cigarettes


Personal trash is not allowed to be disposed of in the lobby, hallways, or restrooms.

Please use the dumpster located outside the building.

A $25/bag fine will be issued for violating this policy.

Fire Alarm

Every resident must exit the building within 3 minutes. If you fail to meet this time requirement, you may be subject to a fine.

Failure to evacuate during a fire alarm is a federal offense and you could face a fine of $250.
