UPDATE: We would like to announce that our December 2021 Graduation and Commencement Ceremonies will be in person in the Pioneer Arena on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm.
College of Business and College of Civic and Liberal Arts graduates will attend the 10:30 am ceremony.
College of Education, College of Nursing, and College of Science, Technology, and Mathematics will attend the 1:30 pm ceremony.
Face masks are strongly recommended.
Each graduate will receive five tickets for guests to attend the ceremony in the Pioneer Arena. Seats will be assigned. Tickets can be picked up from Student Affairs starting on Monday, December 6th. If a graduate is unable to pick up tickets by Friday, December 10th, they must arrive early enough before check-in on Saturday to pickup their tickets in the lobby outside of the Pioneer Arena and distribute them to their guests.
10:30 am ceremony: Graduates are expected to arrive for check-in in the Pioneer Dining Hall (Cafeteria) at 9:00 am . Graduates will leave the cafeteria at 10:20 am so that the ceremony may begin on time.
1:30 pm ceremony: Graduates are expected to arrive for check-in in the Pioneer Dining Hall (Cafeteria) at at 12:00 pm . Graduates will leave the cafeteria at 1:20 pm.
Both ceremonies will be live streamed.
There is a graduation fee of $100 that must be paid by all graduates regardless of whether you participate in the ceremony. This fee covers the purchase of your diploma, diploma tube, and costs for the ceremony. The Business Office has added the graduation fee to your student account.
To receive your diploma following the end of the semester, all academic and financial obligations to the University must be met. Diplomas will be available for pick-up from the Registrar’s Office starting on January 5th, 2022. Any diplomas not picked up by end-of-day on January 21st will be mailed to graduates on January 24th.
If you wish to order regalia to participate in the ceremony, you must also complete this regalia order form by:
*Graduate (Master) students – November 4th
*Undergraduate (Bachelor and Associate) students – November 18th
Your graduation regalia will be mailed to the address you provide when you order. Students must have regalia to be able to participate in the graduation ceremony. Please contact the Registrar’s Office if you any questions about this process.
*Same instructions apply to hooding ceremonies for all Master’s degrees.
